She grew up dancing but discovered powerlifting in chiropractic school, and now competes as an elite-level powerlifter. Training and competing has given Dr. Sarah an understanding of the necessity of exercise as a treatment for physical, mental and emotional conditions.
With a background in biopsychology, Dr. Sarah utilizes techniques from chiropractic, sports psychology, physical therapy, exercise science, and nutrition science to customize treatment plans for her patients. Along with prescribing exercises, Dr. Sarah applies chiropractic therapy, Graston therapy, Active Release Technique, cold laser, ultrasound, electrical stimulation, mobility and stability training to help her patients recover as quickly as possible to get them back to their lives, pain-free! She loves giving nutrition recommendations to decrease inflammation and optimize muscle growth. She has experience treating neck pain, low back pain, migraines, TMJ and extremity conditions, as well as creating nutrition and exercise plans for patients.
When Dr. Sarah isn’t training or helping patients reach their full potential in Arlington, she enjoys trying new restaurants, making succulent arrangements, hiking in the beautiful Virginia mountains, playing with her pets, and traveling.
