Dr. Dana Shillington is a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. She has been practicing in Northern Virginia for the past 9 years with a focus and interest in pre and postnatal care for expecting mothers, pediatrics, family wellness, sports medicine, and personal injury. Dr. Dana has a passion for treating a wide variety of patients regardless of their treatment or fitness goals.
Dr. Dana has accumulated a large array of tools over the years to use at her disposal to help her patients reach their goals, including chiropractic manipulation, extremity adjustments, dry needling, soft tissue mobilization, kinesiotaping, cupping, Webster’s technique, and corrective exercises.
Dr. Dana was born and raised in a small town in Northern Iowa. She was a multi-sport athlete participating in volleyball year-round in addition to basketball and track and field. She continued on to play collegiate volleyball at Grand View University where she obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in psychology. Dr. Dana lives in Vienna where she spends her free time with her husband and children at various sporting events, hiking, and other outdoor activities.
