Originally hailing from Toronto, Canada, he first attended York University where he obtained a bachelors’ degree in Kinesiology and Health Science. Wanting to truly make a difference in people’s lives, he went on to further his healthcare education by obtaining his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. Dr. Tersigni quickly realized early on that it is the most incredible feeling in the world to know that you played a role in helping someone achieve a better state of health. Dr. Tersigni’s passion for providing great healthcare begins with patient education and empowering people to improve the quality of their lives because patients, who know more about their condition, stay healthier and happier. He utilizes the most current evidence-based medicine to individually design treatment and rehabilitation programs for each patient based on a functional, total body approach. By combining chiropractic adjustments, physical therapy modalities and exercise, he creates plans designed to effectively decrease pain, enhance recovery and improve performance. He specializes in sports and recreational injuries and incorporates myofascial release, Graston technique, Kinesio-taping, and laser treatment along with stretching and strengthening to address the root cause of a patient’s problem. This allows patients to recover in the fastest possible time frame with long-lasting, functional results. Above all, he listens to patients and works with them to achieve their goals by being a trusted provider for all their musculoskeletal needs.

Dr. Tersigni has had years of experience in the healthcare community and has treated patients ranging from toddlers up to numerous professional athletes. He was a team Chiropractor for the Washington Redskins and Washington Wizards cheerleading squads and was a Clinical Instructor at the George Mason University Department of Athletic Training.
